w204 C180k front brake noise

Hi all,

My new ride is only 2 mths old

Problems I facing, when moving off slowly from still ,pressed brake to stop car but the momentum forward causes a gerk gerk groaning sound emiting from the front brake.Similary while reversing , press brake to stop same thing when coming to stops the car emit gerk gerk sound.

Like wise when coming to a stop at the red light, slow down car and slowly tap brake to stop car but again the emit a gerk gerk groaning sound , when release brake and let car roll forward no sound , now tap the brake to stop it emit the gerk gerk groaning sound again .

When to c n c , SA say it is normal and a characteristic of it . Even say S class is even louder, but I find the reasons hard to understand n believe. I Check with 2 of my frens driving similar car they mentioned they don't have this Brake issue.

Just check with you guys having the same issue as me or there is something more mechanical wrong with the Brake system , caliper ?

Is it really that normal or I should take SA explantion for it, any inputs will be appreciated before I intend to confront Cnc SA again.

Regards

XTC

I have a screeching sound on a specific slow braking speeds that is not very loud.

changed brake pads but just doesnt go away.

Living with it cos it doesnt scare passengers or cause a stare from pedestrians.

For me, the braking noise sometime is more noticable when going at slow stop-move-brake motion.

Dun really bothers me as I usually have loud music lol!

screeching sound might be caused by uneven brake discs. how long have you had your ride?

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
