I thought Lewis Hamilton did pretty good to get to the podium, considering all the difficulties he had with his car all weekend.

Heikki Kovalainen's crash (watching the playback) was truly heart-stopping! To emerge just shaken without serious injuries really is testament to the safety design/features/structures in the F1 cars.

How nice to bring back this thread, 1 week shy of its 1 year anniversary.

Did any butties catch shanghai GP? i think hamilton did bloody well in the rain, and like the star sports commentator said, he was trying a lil too hard... but the way he change ranking up and down -> if he under steered and over steered which led to him moving down, i believe he would have been on podium...

on a personal note, i think he pitted too late, if he had pitted a lil earlier while he was in 5th it would be easier to come back out and overtake, instead of entering when he was behind, losing precious ground cuz of the not so good drivers infront who can't overtake for nuts. it was fantastic to watch after the safety car exit to have him jump from 9 - 7 (probably with help of the KERS system).

he's a prodigy and he will need a load of catching up to win this years championship. i know many of his fans out there were disappointed in seeing him returning home with nothing the first couple of races. at least we know he does fugging well in the rain.

also, kudos to team redbullsh!t for winning... at least they deserved it. and to my dearest ferrari fans... if it wasn't for fail india opps, i mean force india smashing their ride up on the gravel pit, someone would have gone home with ZERO POINTS in the LAST DECADE OF WINNING!

"LEWIS! LEWIS! ALL THE WAY!"
