Hi couldn't find the exact explanation in any of the threads here.

Could any one advise on the difference. I know the gear changing rpm is being raised in sports mode.

Was told that there is more to it like in S mode, the car actually move off in 1st gear instead of 2nd gear in E mode.

Any bros, able to confirm and share more of the unknown :)

Regards

For c180k, the car moves off at 1st gear whether its at C or S mode. It's the V6 7 g tronic tranny that moves off at 2nd gear at C mode & 1st gear at S mode.

Oh ok, I was told by the cnc sales rep that c180 k when in E mode move off in 2nd gear.

In S mode, it drives off in 1st gear.

Did a trial these few days in S mode, indeed when moving off at standstill the pick up torque is greater.

After driving for close to a year in E mode, didn't realize that the pick up torque is so much of a difference in S mode. All these while I thought it is only increasing in the gear changing rpm.

Now I'm driving in S mode most of the time, pretty fast and dun feel as sluggish as before.

Dun really know the mechanics behind the S and E mode, but I am enjoying the ride all over again :)
