I will be happy to say I love Singapore. This country gave me all the opportunities I have today of which I am truly grateful. Allowed me to live a standard of living I can only dream of in another country given the status quo when I entered the workforce and my humble family background.

Given the chance, I'd honestly leave at first opportunity! I do agree the country has provided me with much and I'm grateful, but I do believe that we could have gotten more. Paying so much for COE as an example, could be driving a Porsche in the US. Don't even get started about HDBs! Just my humble opinion, grass is always greener on the other side and there'll never be a perfect system.

I've seen Shell petrol stations starting to sell the flag and side mirror covers for $5 each.

Pssst u sure? Winter time it's freezing like anything! U can't see if the babe has boobies or nt cos all look like spongebox sq pants! Then blackies using water guns to shoot at u! No nice chicken rice n char kway tiao!

dont really like the side mirror cover.... lolzz.. plus the signal is on the mirror, later people cannot see us signalling...

How about the flag pole? I know a lot of taxis like to have the flag pole on the windows

can someone who has successfully (and nicely) put on their mercs post their pic here?

i bought mine and put on.. but seems like it is slanted one side, unlike the pic above.. looks clumsy overall :wacko:

BTW, just to alert you guys... used this type one during last year National day.... the flag flew off and left the stick only.

Then get another one and again, left the stick only.... faint.... :(

Then :mad: decide not to put any flag...

hey guys i just bought... bro Solar,  yes it stands straight......


I got important message for you guys,,, I just got cheated of SGD 1.1... lolz...


i buy from 7-11 at SGD 5.


after that i go Esso pump petrol ans they selling at SGD 3.9 and the ones there have a clip on the flag..... to prevent it flying off...


the one from 7-11 no clip....

i suppose u haven't installed on your car yet... try it, and it will slant one side.

the one i bought somewhere in the middle there are hooks.. but they are not really hooked.
