450 Mercedes Benz Citaro single deck buses and 550 Volvo double deck buses. Delivery date expected to begin in Jan 2013

Of the 1,000 new buses, 260 will be funded by the government under the Bus Services Enhancement Programme (BSEP), while SBS Transit will fund the remaining 740 buses under its growth and fleet replacement plans.

The Citaro is quite a comfortable bus to take.
