Anyone using Silicon wipers here?

The PIAA ones come in the full set...ie with frame. No blades, anyway it's almost impossible to strip & assemble the merc blade from the frame....unlike that of the jap cars.

Thanks. So it is compatible with our wiper I suppose. Would it be available at Mustafa? Need it by morning tomorrow, driving to Malaysia...

just to share, i went to Autobacs yday, and checked out the PIAA silicon wipers. it's priced at $168 for a pair, and it's stated on the box which model it's for. so be sure to get the right one!!   :D

(also, went for servicing recently, and the advisor told me the default wipers are already silicon wipers leh! :phew:   )

:startle:  wah! SA bluff me??? for sure?

I'm currently using PIAA silicone wipers...the feel of these wipers is different, even the way it sweeps across the windscreen is a lot smoother.

i'm replying again to this thread for the benefits of concern pple of the stupid effects of the wipers that casue jerking effects..

like all bro and sis... felt quite shit feeling over this... but that was 3yrs ago..

went for PIAA silicon wiper, problem solve.. it last me for the past 3yrs. =)

price was like $160-180 that time, only Autobacs carry. BUT... understand due to price wise.. not every bro and sis willing to spend that type of money on a pair of wipers. For me I think is money well spent.

i'm here to provide a alternative solution, after 3 yrs, I just change my piaa to a new silicon wiper.. but troublesome thing is Singapore never sell...

price wise, it's about the price of ORIGINAL MB wiper cost frm golden link... about $80-100 bucks.

u can buy frm here..

the first link for universal clip.

am alrdy using alrdy. if not good, I also won't post in all wiper related thread. so far so good.

even if it's no good, I guess also better than original. had been using silicon for the past 6yrs.

also.. there isn't much alternative for silicon wipers... and I didn't read the comments when buying... I thought that, for the price of original wiper frm MB price, I could get my silicon wiper.. so y not? so no complain even if it fails me after 1 yr.

after-all I DID paid $160++ for a pair of PIAA silicon wiper that last me about 3 yrs.

I just tot $ money well spent, for the above 2 links.

cheers! :thumbsu:
