The SLK solid car lar. Your run in the S-class, nearly make me merlion in the car :roadrage:

After that come out, my head still spinning ... hehheh

When we drove the S Class, it was very stable and smooth! The SLK350 very tail happy.

The handling of the SL350 is fantastic, however for an SL I was expecting more drama and a more unforgettable memory. It's quiet inside the cabin and it looks similar to the SLK's interior. Even the exterior of the car seems so discrete. I tried making the exhaust sing but no matter how hard you whack it in sports mode neutral gear, you don't hear anything! It doesn't make you feel special enough especially with the $400,000+++ price tag. In short, it's too understated.

The SLK350 on the other hand was loud, the exhaust note sings a wonderful tune and It's very tail happy. It's not the easiest handling car of the day but once you master to control it, the car really leaves a wonderful experience in your mind. Easily my favourite car of the day. Makes you feel you're driving something really really special.

Both cars with a similar V6 engine, to be honest and quiet unexpectedly, I prefer the SLK350. For the SL350, I guess it's the case of never meeting your hero. Maybe the SL500 will fair much better??

The new SL look like a longer n bigger version of the SLK. The technology n interior are Swee Swee no horse run n will instantly make u wet kind. The car pull away effortlessly and exhaust sound is musical. U will know instantly that the SL is a different league car, Its truly a wonderful car except when u look at the price. I will go for the SLK 350 instead for the same same power n engine.

Anyway these two cars were never on my radar and have not thought of test driving them before. But this event allow me to thrash both ! How wonderful! :)
