Slight vibration when moving off

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

Recently I'm experiencing some vibration when I lift off the brake pedal. The feeling is like the half cluth vibration when driving manual car. This happens when I shift from "P" to "D" or "R" to "D" and the vibration comes in when brake pedal is almost lifted off.

Anyone facing the same problem? I've not send my ride (C180K) to C&C yet because I'm trying to drive till 1,000km and see if the situation gets better after run in.

I've had 2 new C180s and I've not experienced anything of the sort with either of them. To be prudent it would be better for you to drive down to CnC and have them check it out for you as it might be related to you brakes. Maybe call your SE and have him/her facilitate.

try stepping on the brake harder when changing gear and allow some time before stepping the gas.

Right after the gear is shifted from "R" to "D", I will slowly lift off the brake pedal. Just before the brake pedal is fully lifted I could feel some vibration. funny thing is it does not happan all the time. I'll monitor for another few more weeks.

I have this issue too.

Esp when parking, when I change from D to R to D to R.

My C180K mileage about 3000km already, still the same.

Brought it down to Pandan before to check it out when it was 2 weeks old. Was unable to replicate the fluttering at the service center. Sian.

Do post if you manage to resolve this issue! Thanks.

I tried to give the gearbox more time (2 sec) to change gear and the vibration is gone. From R to D, I would hold the brake depal for 2 secs after I shift the gearknob from R to D and there's no more vibration. Maybe the gearbox is slow. Anyway I'll bring this up to CnC when I need to go for my first service.
