How loud is your engine?

Hi bros,

I noticed that recently, when I turned on the engine, the engine sound is a lot louder than before. In some instances, there was even a prolonged 'eee' sound that goes off after a while. I wonder if other bros here experienced the same thing? My ride is comin three years. Going for 60K servicing soon. Do you think it will help?

Another sound I noticed is during acceleration. There is also a 'eeee' sound that tapers off when I release the accelerator. I asked the C&C mechanic and he said it is normal but I am a bit skeptical. Wanted to see if any bros here have the same issue.

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks bro BM,

Mine's pre-FL W204, 2009. Still have one month warranty left. I suspected it's belt too cos my previous ride had this issue. Do you know if it's under warranty? Thanks

Belting is under wear & tear. So i doubt is cover for replacement. Do this, send in yr car to agent for inspection. If confirms is belting issue get outside workshop to replace it for you at a lower cost.
