"More Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) may be made available in the coming months.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is studying measures that may contribute to higher COE supply for the next six-month period from this August."

SO who else is pissed off with Tuck Yew's flip flopping?

reminds me of boleh land politicians... flip prata every now and then (white card, biometric, the toll charges, 20km restriction for foreigners to pump petrol, etc)

his willpower to correct the earlier mistake is not strong.. perhaps all he can do is just do wayang for show.

Will COE prices will drop then?

I see the COE system works effectively to control car population....Must be some white horse's children/relative/nephews/nieces want to buy his/her first new car...

definitely doesn't make sense to increase COE quota.. haven't they learnt their lesson for releasing too much COEs in the past 2-3 years?

Let us not forget that potential car buyers have an option to look at second-hand car market too.

Maybe his very own son buying c63 AMG next month so asking his dad to do something

Son : Dad, I promise my gf that I am buying a brand new C63 AMG this month end

Dad : that's a bloody good car to show off and hook gals

Son : but I have a problem here, will you help me?

Dad : what is the problem? As long as within my authority means, I will help u

Son : you make the CoE too expensive, if I purchase the car at current high COEs, I don't have extra spare money to bring my gf to euro for shopping

Dad : small issue, now I call LTA head and inform him to increase the quota for 2 months and tomorrow I will break news to public on change to COE quota policy.

Son : thanks you very much daddy, one last request, will you trade in my current SLK ride at the purchase price?

Chevrolet cutting prices. Think COE will still remain or go up due to backlog of orders. Yesterday's Sea of Red shows how vulnerable the global economy is......don't know how how the spike will last.

Very cautious about changing to a new ride now.
