tyre noise at 70km..

mercyme

Recommended Posts

Hi

Just change new set of tyre (CSC3) a month ago but for the past 1 week, have been hearing this irritating sound (like a muffled gonging sound when traveling 70km and above. I tot initially there was something stuck at one of the wheel which causes the sound but not.

Will doing a wheel alignment helps? Nothing to do with the suspension right..

Any bros can advise here.. thanks!

could it just be the tyre noise? the csc3s aren't known to be quiet.. how old is your car? did you change springs or suspension? if neither, then the alignment shouldn't run when you just change tyres.

hi, just went to the tyre shop and problem solved. actually there is a piece of tar stuck on the inner side of front left wheel. thats where the noise is from... hehe.

car is stock and 1.5 yrs. thanks bro!
