Good Professional Car wash

Recommended Posts

Hi guys... Do you know of any professional car washing places in Singapore..? Not like those in petrol station, I avoid them at all cost.

Typically a professional car wash should cover:

Engine bay clean n wipe

Interior vacuum

Leather cleaning

Exterior wash

Clay bar rubbing

I did my all previous car washing like these on a weekly basis but recently they have raised their cost and I'm looking for other alternative.

Any pro can recommend?

I always do mine at SONAX @ Leng Kee.. Ranging $12-$15.. Good job done by the worker.. Clean and go through every parts thoroughly..

That's very reasonable.. Does it in include the SOW I mentioned earlier... I will give them a call tomorrow to find out more... My usual car wash charge 30 bucks per session.. That's about an arm and a leg...haha

i go to kar spa at autospitze. but i think need to sign package with them for the wash. price quite reasonable too..

btw, did you try our site sponsor Acellent Services? they are the authorized dealer for Zaino here. really quality products!

Yah I went and tried the full wash polish and detailing with Zaino already.. I must say the sealant is quite lasting... Very good job done.. But the thing is we don't polish every now and then for me it's about once every 3-4 mths... Plus that place quite ulu... No kopitiam to hang around n wait ..hehe so I'm looking for a more convenient place for my regular car wash..

If you had your paint protection done up elsewhere. Can still visit these joints for carwash? Would they mind? Tks

Hmm... I did my Zaino detailing 2 weeks back and I approach this detailing centre "Elite Detailing" @ UBi... They have no issue because their technology is waterless wash.... After wash wen I collect my ride they even told me that I already had a sealant coat on top... So no issue ah.. Only thing is they charge 30 bucks per wash which I think is really steep... This prices already discounted because I'm a tenant in the building...

U mean other detailing centre will reject washing business if sealant not done by them?? Not that I know of such practice...

They're located within Stamford Tyres..

Tell them Nigel from davetires recommended you there.. They should give you the cheapest (if the boss/supervisor is there)..

i do my grooming with them in Feb and tested the water beading thing again 2mths later.. i'll go and find the write up i did on another forum and post it here for all your viewing pleasure..

Sonax @ Leng Kee should be at the Caltex station opposite C&C?

I might be wrong, never try before.

No mate, it's not inside Caltex.. It's a SONAX booth itself.. Within Stamford Tyres..

Here's my review on SONAX when they did my BMW E60 M5.. :)

http://www.bmw-sg.co...ax-revol-3.html

and another review done by an Audi owner.. :)

http://www.bmw-sg.co...nsor-sonax.html

I was told by Gabriel that SONAX is the Official OEM car care products for both the German giants BMW & MB..

He say, for Paint Protection Sealant (PPS).. Ranging from $300 (SLK size) to $450 (ML size).. The other classes will be between $300-$450.. Payment must be paid by CASH/CHEQUE ONLY to be able to get this price..

BUT again...... MUST remember to quote Nigel from davetires recommended you there and give Gabriel a call in advance so he is personally there to serve you (and give you the special rates)..

PS: I'M NO LINKED TO SONAX IN ANY WAY.. JUST GIVING SOME FEEDBACKS AS I'VE BEEN USING IT FOR ALL MY CARS..

hi, i have just got hold of a new c-class and would like some advice. for my previous car, i would send to petrol station for a $7 car wash once in 2 weeks,

How do you gurus take care of your car ?

Exterior

1. sign up the NANO SEALENT from C&C

2. wat is the difference between a wax and a sealeant ?

3. how often shd i wax ?

Interior

1. is it okay to wax the leather seat ? if so, any good brand to recommend ?

2. how about the other interior parts ?ie dash board ? shd i wax ? if so any good brand ?

3. or shd i send to my car to a "spa" ?

4. if i send my car to a 'spa' , how often shd i send ?

Hope i am not asking too much, thank you in advance.

How much does C&C charge for NANO SEALANT?

Normal detailing/grooming session

-> A detailing session covering your entire vehicle from the exterior to the interior.. Paintwork correction stages depending on the condition of the car..

Anti-bacterial treatment to the interior with Tornado Gun technology as well as application specific areas such as leather, fabric, alcantara, dashboard matte dressing and treatment types.

Sealant

-> need to let it dry and prior to applying Paint Protect, we will need to remove all the scratches and swirls so work needs to be done on the paintwork first.

With Paint Protect, a touch-up session is recommended but optional once in 6 months just to spruce up the paintwork to make it look more refreshed and spring cleaned so technically you will only need to come back once throughout the period of Paint Protection. Then again, this is optional and dependent on your livelihood (i.e. if you shelter park daily or go Sepang every weekend or work in heavily soiled industrial environments).

Otherwise, if you car is Paint Protected, you will only need to maintain it with pure water and everything should rinse of quite easily. No waxing, or even any shampoo washing during the whole 12 months.

This is my take on DETAILING/GROOMING SESSION VS PAINT PROTECT SEALANT/NANO PAINT SEALANT..

PM if you need some lobang for PPS and detailing sessions.. I've got a good detailer who details all my cars for me.. :)
