Today, many newer Mercedes Benz COMANDs are coming equipped from the factory with multiple video sources as a standard feature.  This feature has many great benefits such as in dash DVD changers, video aux inputs, etc.  Unfortunately, this modern option exhibits one major flaw.  The issue is the inability for the available video sources to remain operable while the vehicle is moving.  Therefore, we at have developed a solution.  We have designed a product specifically for Mercedes Benz vehicles equipped with a factory in dash DVD player. The Video In Motion is a plug and play interface, that once installed allows the user to enable video playback while the vehicle is moving.  Complete control of this added ability is literally at your fingertips. As we have designed the interface to be activated or deactivated by the simple press of your factory steering wheel controls.  With Video In Motion, your passengers can now fully enjoy the luxury of in vehicle video entertainment while on the move.

  • 3 months later...

will the VIM interfere with command online 4.5 functions/navigation etc???

Dunno about the NTG 4.5 but the VIM does interfere with my NTG 2.5 Navi functions.

However if someone is watching video, then you are not using Navi and the other way round.

So my VIM is normally switched off unless someone in the car wanna watch video.

Cheers

Got mine VIM installed by Camber yesterday. Glad to know that my command online can connect to the internet via S3 and bluedun without problems (heard some versions cannot), Camber helped to verify it, but the connection speed sucks big time.
