I am one of them and believe many other forummers also affected.. I went to the workshop @ 172 Sin Ming 3 times from 14 Dec to 20 Dec11 and the main gates totally SHUT!

What i heard the company already shut down due to financial problems and manpower issues with MOM.

Don't bother to call them cos nobody will answer your calls.

Don't bother to go other workshops listed in the warranty booklet cos non of them will honor the warranty.

Don't bother to go to their old workshop at Blk 21 Sin Ming cos the staff there will give you crap excuses that they having technical issues with their hydralic jack blah blah....

The only solution as advise by CASE TRUST- Contact your PI dealer and seek a solution with them. If cannot resolve than proceed to CASE to lodge a complaint and they take further action from there.

I just called my PI dealer and they knew about the issues about TWM. They will come back to me how to proceed with future warranty claim.. haiz....:Cry::Cry::Cry:

KNN.. i think the boss maybe another Casino loser... Looking at the size and volume of their biz i don't think it will failed but if the boss chose to try his luck at casino than too bad... :Cry::Cry::Cry:

Si Liao. My bought my 2nd hand ride from a dealer that come with 5 years TWM warranty. With this happened ... what can I do now huh ?? Pray that my ride will not breakdown in next 5 years ? My ride was 7 months old when I bought it. KN****

Go back to the PI dealer who sold the car to the 1st owner n make a claim from them. The PI co name should be written on the TWM warranty booklet but if the PI closed shop liao than 吃自己 suay lor...

the PI will definitely not honour ... they will tell you that they have honoured their side of the deal by purchasing the warranty package from TWM and hence transferring their obligations over to TWM.

As TWM and the PIs are not related, the PI cannot be held liable for the collapse of TWM. This will be their argument and honestly i think the argument will hold :(

Mbc200, so did your PI do any arrangement for you for new warranty?

I m still waiting for their reply and gotten one of friend who have good connection with them to raise my case.. Hopefully they can work out something ..

Who's interested to go into workshop biz pls show your hand :hand:? Maybe we can take this opportunity to venture into this biz.. Can takeover the place cheap cheap n work out a solution to resolve the warranty claim issues for all existing customers.. Heehee ..危机=机会

My ex cabrio also TWM warranty.... Lucky already sold... If not a bit hard to find buyer now...

Btw all merc car come with 1 yr international warranty. So you can go c and C claim warranty if you want. You pay first then c and c help claim back from Daimler.

If you need adoption here goes:

Cycle & Carriage has over 60 years of experience, expertise and

proprietary know-how on servicing and repairing Mercedes-Benz vehicles

to factory stringent quality standards. For all cars sold via Cycle &

Carriage, Cycle & Carriage as the contracting party will ensure that all

factory stringent warranty standards and guide-lines are fulfilled. As

your car is not sold by us, a registration fee of S$10,000.00 is

applicable should you want to engage our services.

Under the terms of warranty, the following original documents must be

submitted for consideration and warranty application:

a) Vehicle Sales Invoice (from an Authorised Mercedes-Benz Importer or

Dealer) from the country of origin;

B) Service Booklet and Service Invoices (where applicable, to prove that

an Authorised service center has carried out all maintenance as per

recommendations by Mercedes-Benz)

c) Proof of Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) work being carried out by an

Authorised Mercedes-Benz PDI center.

d) Delivery Certificate from Authorised Mercedes-Benz Dealer.

We strongly encourage you to get your vehicle registered with us, send

your vehicle to our Pandan Loop Service Center at 188 Pandan Loop, for

us to properly assess your vehicle and ascertain if the specification

are suitable for the local market. Upon proper diagnosis, we will then

be able to advise on the cost of repair(if any) and if warranty coverage

is applicable, a refund will be processed upon successful claim from

factory.
