but talking about Arsenal these days, a bit sad lah...

It's like every season, my expectation of being title winner is almost 0. Must go through emotional high and low every time watching they play.

Especially so whenever i see Djourou in the starting line up or coming on as sub. My heart beats faster and my expectation lowered.

Nonetheless, I still support the team and try to watch every match. Miss the days of seeing Bergkamp, Pires, Henry, Vieira. It was so exciting to watch a team with much determination to win.

No worries. Wenger has ditched the young players policy after the sale of nasri.

But he is losing out on the players he wan to purchase on the transfer market due to super rich wealth influx. To solve the problem, he can only purchase his backup target players.

Mata, Jones, Silva and Others star players choose to join the super rich clubs.

Wenger can only buy Arteta, Lohang Winger, BFG n Etc.

Hope we can get a top 4 finish this season

Arsenal n Wenger always very strict with transfer budget n salaries.

Wenger plan was to use young players to fight the riches n golds n oil barrels. In the end Wenger underestimate the power of gold n money.

To see matured young player (Nasri n Ces) depart Arsenal make him wake up and changes his battle plans.

We will never know how strong will Arsenal be with matured Nasri, Ces n RvP supported by ever improving Ramesy, Jack n Szc.

I respect the club fiscal responsibility and conviction in that belief, despite the lack of trophy. Just really with those billionaires injection into the game, there's no way arsenal can match sugar daddies financial might to compete in all cups like the good old years.

One can only hope sugar daddies get bored with their club.

I still adore Arsenal and rather Wenger's philosophy of football. He changed the way Arsenal play and it's sexy, used to be before current team for now.

quite a number of post Bergkamp-era players have no heart to play at all..... still sore about last season's cup loss to a poorer and technically weaker club.....

can only hope the younger English players do better than their foreign counterparts.

Sugar dad is here to stay. PSG , Malaga, Man City, Chelsea and those Russia Clubs will buy the top branded players. Real, Barce, Manu,Loserpool will take the 2nd class players.

The left over and 3rd rated n below players will be affordable to Arsenal.

Wenger already see this picture 6 years ago when Chelsea becomes Chel$ea that why he switch to developing young players. But in the end Greed and Riches still get the better of these young players. Wenger was HOPING young player passion in football can beat the $$$$. Can't fault these young players. Put 150k and 80k per week salary on table, normal thinking person will take the better offer

I just felt there is a lack of collective desire to win in previous season. While we messed up the start this season, at least watching the match, I feel there is a collective desire to win.

Who can forget 4 goals Arshavin at Anfield!!! I don't really have much of a memory of Chamakh. He's most of the time, invisible, if he even play.

the last time we went to OT and let in 6 goals, we came back with an unbeaten season.

Hopefully This squad with Wenger can come out some magical power to surprise the riches n gold of man city n Chelsea
