On the left side where your passenger seat is. It had a light in that compartment!

Just to provide some additional information on air -con filter.

1) YES C180K and above are provided with air-con filter. The official name is called "Cabin Filter"

2) Its located below the Glove box, NOT inside Glove box. Must lie on the floor mat, remove a plastic panel about 10" x 16" (3 screws) and remove two small stainless clip and slid the White colour plastic to lower the Cabin filter. Quite a tough job and the light bulb will shine into yr eyes when you lie on floor mat while trying to remove the 3 screws. I tape the bulb while removing the cover....

3) Filter can be brought from Eng Soon or Tye Soon, $53.00 Original Merc cabin filter.

I suffer backache after renewing the filter.....haha (younger days had dismantle complete engine myself and overhaul )

Quite hard to change...for those not mechnical incline... suggest better let other workshop make some of yr money....otherwise medicine to rub.

Cheers!!!!

  • 1 year later...

stockist also hold air con filter as well

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.
