Check this out! More shit! Dave Naidu from OBD Tuning actually told a member at BMW-SG that he can tune his car and yet still have have his tuning box reinstalled! Lucky never TEE BA BOM!!!!

Recently I chk with Dave on tuning n told him that i have power box in my ride. He told me to remove, tune with him n install power box back again. After research n more reading I notice it's either tuning or power box. Not both as it'll spoil the car...luckily I didn't proceed with him...

Wah Lau...so much for open comments...my comment for OBD Tuning Pte Ltd on sgcarmart forum got removed!

me too very KPO on what you had commented.

i had my fair share of experience with my F10 after OBD. i really could not feel much difference. i hate it when i was told to drive "aggressively" to let the ECU "learn". So much of crazy acceleration for that week.

Because I think the F10 still doesn't have OBD solution...even if it's tunable, must remove ECU and write directly into ECU I think...did he remove your ECU? I know...ask him to email you your original map and tuned map! Then ask another tuner to open and check!

Unless its a very close buddy operating the dyno, or if I get to stand next to the dyno watching the data recorded live with a close buddy that I can trust operating the car...I won't trust the results. I especially won't trust dyno tests from the tuner workshops because it's so easy to alter the results otherwise...butt feel and how the car drives on the road is the best...after 40-60km or after a few full drive cycles you will know if the car has improved in power and smoothness etc. if its not obvious or significant enough, then go get the money back...ultimately it's how you feel when you drive that is most important....

We go through the dynos ourselves. Of course we're part of the dyno process.

Never trust butt dyno alone. Susceptible to "feel good" factor after spending on mods.
