my 2-fin grille paint job done, emblem and fin stripes black chrome job also ready for collection!

Can't wait to put them all up together and see the end finishes.

Can't wait to see the results. Post the pictures after the mod!

Not yet, rims are still with workshop. Now on ugly stock rims. Waiting to send to CnC to check on alignment and vibration issue.

Nice and classy, mind sharing where you got the front emblem and stripes black chrome and how much you paid???

I sent it for electroplating process to get the piano black color. Final coating with 2K lacquer for added shine and protection. Damage-$230

Haha...thanks for selling me your grilles, bro. You made my search whole lot easier!

The workshop I go to cannot do chroming on plastic unless it is already chromed or has metal properties on them. Metal parts should not be a problem. What I learnt chroming plastic is a total different technology.

Bro,

Nice grill. I had similar ideas to yours when i was asking Blackmercs whether he could spray the grill to black chrome.

Got the fins sprayed with matt gunmetal color to blend with my rims.

helllo is that the stock c coupe 2 fin grill sprayed black.very nice. any idea if there is a similar option for pre FL sedan?

Stock C Class sedan (C180K) has 3 fins. This is the C Class coupe grill, only has 2 fins.

Where can I get replacement grilles? I drive a C200 FL Sedan and i don't want to go back to the stock 3 winged grille.

Any idea if i can get a 2 or 1 spoke grille for this?

As it stands, mine was damaged in a :hocky: and C&C quotes $700 for a new one :startle:

There are a few designs available, and I think SgMerc gtg has the complete collection of grille available to C class.
