bro, i checked out the link too, i dun think the AMG sports package aims to give the buyer a replica AMG look, well maybe 70-80% there, but offer more of a sporty feel in terms of looks and handling, pretty much like the sline package Audi is providing. Couple of months back, my SE showed me a C350 clad in AMG body kit and i must admit, it does look good.

but what captures my attention is the perforated disc brakes and callipers that comes along with the package, duno if they are providing the actual bembo OEMs or even provide you with ceremic barke pads, if it does, it would definitly be worth taking up the package...juz my 2c

From what little I know...the C63 has a totally different bonnet,and the front apron has some vents at the side (very lay man lingo), the normal AMG is simply a front apron that looks similar to the c63 from the front. As for little details like the brakes and other stuff..not too sure. But I think it is deliberate that you cannot convert anormal W204 to a C63 completely.

Ya, had saw the actual car, like what Bro huatsup say, is alot diff from C63, is a much decent looking type,got alot more to change to look like a C63, was quoted and considering this AMG but limited parts of it, the BBK and Exos yet to come, only can change the front/rear bumpers,side skirt,tail pipe and side sill, even the paddle also dont have yet.

actually, for those who have yet to order their 204 and are planning to get one, my advise is to get it with the AMG package, it's well worth it compared to doing it after you collect the car. After market mods will likely incur higher costs. The $8,100 AMG package that C&C offers seems like a really good deal.

Agreed, or maybe those plan of booking can book for the AMG package than sell and swap with us, good idea can bring your purchase price lower,just wondering will this void the wty?

Other difference are :

1. AMG kit W204 is mercedes wording on front brake calipers, C63 is AMG calipers

2. Slightly different foglamps

3. AMG kit W204 single exhaust for 180k n 200k, dual exhaust for 280 n 350, C63 quad exhaust

4. AMG kit W204 marking behind front wheel is "Elegance" or "Advangarde", C63 is "6.3 AMG"

ah ic ic, so they wont be swapping the brakes for the std c...it they do, it would be a steal ;D

and not too mention the c63 is slightly longer (100mm??) and wider than the standard c, but i dun think it would be that obvious to the naked eye...

i have seen the front 'fins'/'gills' (not sure the exact name tho) being replicated on a white slk 200, very nice looking, but the 2 power dome on the bonnet will be quite expensive to do up i reckon.

but i suppose the pkg is really worth considering as it gives you a good chasis touch up and host of other additions.

Yes, if buying from C&C, a must and it is really worth buying with the AMG package.Rather than hunting here and there for items like me in future.
