Grooming

Im looking for a good car grooming service... a little disappointed with nano sealant job done last year despite the price paid. So, i intend to try something different.

I am lazy to do regular grooming, and dont wash my car myself... depending on petrol kiosk washing. So would need something that will last at least a year.

Any recommendation?

Why are you disappointed with the sealant job done by C&C? Could you share with us? :music:

Mine is black....

i did read about FAV's testimonial... quite impressive.

But i am a little concern about Zaino's longetivity as i dont like to go polishing every 3-4 months... i do it only once a year.

Disappointed with nano sealant because,... well, initially it was good. But after 6 months... washing with water alone is not enough to clear off the dirt. And i am not suppose to use any shampoo to wash.... end up my car not looking clean after washing. Maybe i need to wash it with water everyday... but who has time to wash the car everyday? once a week or a fortnight is quite good already. I park underground at home and at work,.. so it it quite clean unless kena rain.

Also, i stop washing myself and go to petrol kiosk. Asking them to wash without shampoo is really bad as the washing is really superficial.

to be frank, car is like us human, if u want it clean u have to wash everyday or once its dirty as per like when we are dirty. to me there is no single product that can garantee apply once and rest of the year u just wipe with water due to our climate. like if i apply nano sealant on myself can i not bath? cant right else all wld faint beside me hahahhaha

Haha... agree with you. That's why must change to a different product.

Nano sealant not for me. Good for those who have chauffeur cleaning/washing their car everyday.

My car is black as well and I signed up a grooming package with Prospeed (using 3 M products). So far, I am pretty happy with the service and I will send the car in every 2 to 3 months. I like the smooth feel of a car after the treatment. I was also told that i just need to wash with water after the treatment but I am use to it. Some groomers told me that all these PPS are BS and we still need to wax the car regularly. My neighbour "swear by" the product "Tough Seal" and he is also driving a black car. The shine is good but it does not have the smooth feel.

My personal belief is that a layer of protection is needed for our paintwork due to our weather conditions... rain and shine. I will continue with my package to maintain the paintwork.

I'm glad that I came across this thread. I've been debating whether to do a normal sealant job for my new ride or go for nano sealant, which costs a bit more. Looks like no matter which product I choose, regular washing is still required.

Haha... use to wash once a week at least.. now getting old. once in 2 weeks is a little too much too. Best if i have a chauffeur to clean in everytime he send me here and there while waiting for me.... haha!

Hi Guys, I am a fan of sealants... from the time when I was a young punk, at 19 till today... 32... I swear by sealants as it always works well... it is not truth that u cannot shampoo the car after sealant, but u need to use pH neutal shampoo to avoid cleaning of the protective layer...

Agree totally with you.

Furthermore, what I don't like about proprietary systems like CS-2 is they are very restrictive, whereby I have to use their products to wash my car and to go for regular maintenance in order to keep the warranty.
