Brake Kits for W204

Can any bro advise me on this brake kits, I am wanting to change mine to those BIG rotor type, what brand avail and what is the cost of it.

Saw one of our bro tread saying he did his for $2k, that a decent price, had asked him where did he do it, will let you know once he reply, let do it together and bargain for a better price

MBM quoted front C32 4 pot AMG BBK for $2500.00.

Brembo BBK cost is much higher.

Maybe you can group some buyers and ask for group buy discount with MBM.

I believe C32 AMG 4 pot BBK are OEM Brembos. Makes sense to get Brembo if it's a 6 pot version.

Sorry if i am wrong, I think Brembo do lots of other brand calipers,just like AMG and other, even the C&C AMG package didnt come in AMG calipers but it is a Merc calipers. Is your calipers printed AMG?

I was at MBM (or kbs motorsport) yesterday to check on product which could reduce the amount of brake dust generated from our W204 (common for Conti cars due to non-abestos brake pad used). Their staff, Patrick Lim recommended me to change to AMG brake kit.

He said the AMG brake kit/pad produces less dust than the stock materials.

Is it true? How much would this cost?

guess that brake dust depends on the brake pads, apparently more dust mean better bite but there are sports pads as well that have less brake dust but do need to warm up first.

S$2K was done by Benzline nearly 4 years ago in 2004 when I took my new W203 and the stock brakes was only 2 months old.

I was then "always their ginnie pig" then. !st to install the full Lorinser Edition Kit on W203, 1st K-Box on W203, 1st few to instal C32 AMG brakes.

1st few to instal the Bi-Xenon, etc.,

Back on brake dust!

IMHO, the C32 AMG brakes generate as much brake dust as the stock.

You guys are right, more bite mean more dust! ;D ;D ;D

Guess inflation through the years, now price probably higher.

Probably setup a group buy & Kevin MBM might gip U guys further discount.

I suggest you use the W204 latest version of "Sports Edition" BBK OE from MBenz...they look great.

Make your ride look more OE look that putting other brands on it...jus my 2 cents...hehehe.
