I "honestly & sincerely" wanted the KIA - so can save some $$$ for a better coffin.

However the heart but not the head morphed the KIA to a MB!

Has been doing unlogical or rather stupid things my whole F$#kin life to fulfill my lust for rides. :lol:

I've to admit, I got a "good deal" from SeenSee unlike when I went to PML to test drive the new X3 XDrive35. X5 is more in the same categeory as the ML but priced too far away.

As I've explained to some kakies here!

The FL W164 ML series is coming to an end and probably next year 2012 new ML model will be called W166.

So currently MB is throwing in lots of stuff as usual when their models are coming to an end. Also for the 1st time MB is putting in a smaller engine the well proven V6 M272 NA 3.0L engine for the Asian market.

My take is that this is a "good deal" and by the time the new ML W166 hit the market, the price diff. will be something like the end of cycle W211 & the W212. Likewise the old CLS vs the coming new CLS.

Maybe I am comforting myself.....nvm! Looking forward to the new luver which according to the SE will be here Jul/Aug.

It does comes with the goodies which won me over except no KEYLESS :Cry:

DRL, Bi-Xenon, LED Tail lamp, Blue Tinted Glass, 19" AMG III rims, Side Steps, Sport Seats, Paddle Shifts, Sport Pedals.

Unker . Coffin for cremate only . Don't bother to buy too good . Good car can protect you from need of buying coffin earlier . So it's worth ! :becky:

Bought the ML not for race lah - no fight with the faster & more pow der ful 3.2L Freelander.

Horse pow der on paper about the same - FL as a 2 hp more

Torque FL has about 17 Nm more.

The ML is longer, taller and slightly wider than the FL but it weighs in at a hefty 2.135 ton vs the much lighter FL 1.775 ton and a big 95L Fuel Tank.

On paper FL is nearly 1s faster than the ML to the 100.

If I wanna fast SUV, I would have kept my mTm Stage 1 Q5 - 272 hp, 390Nm T & 6+s 0-100 acceleration.

As I've said - sold my valueless kar chng to satisfy my lust for rides!

When coming end of product cycle life before new model, this is what MB usually does - throw in lots of freebies.

This one MB thrown in both the

"interior sport package" code P95 & "exterior sport package" Code P96.

MHA started driving my "Batam Grandfather" 1st Generation CRV after getting her driving licence and continues for many years driving the 3.0 TDI Prado.

After hastily selling off the previous Q5 - guess we missed the SUV presence in sillypore! :becky:
