Dear all mercedes owners,

My Mercedes E200 Black with 19inch Carlsson rims was stolen from Serangoon Garden (along the pubs) last night. The car plate is SJX222G. A police report has already been made. If anyone spots the car on the roads, please call me or inform the police immediately so we can catch this car thief.

I thank you all for your help

WTF....this is real bad.

Did you drop your key?

i tot the car has some security function that needs the key to de-code before it coulg get the engine started?

Or was it tolled away....? likely not toll away as the place is narrow....if along the pubs.

SJX222G...i am pretty sure if it is on the road, the VRN has been changed.

Some time ago I advocated to forumners to use this product to protect our mercs especially in M'sia, but was 'shot' down becos of price & fees. I still think this is a small price to pay if bros here won't want to go thru your heartache experience. Check it out here...http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onemotoring/en/motoring_buzz/smart_driver/motoring_tips/car_tracking_service.html

Question; was the car locked? was the car key in the car?

We are all curious to know how the car was broke into and driven to Telok Kurau.

That thief must have been a pro if he didn't have the key when he stole the car . Yet if pro then he shouldn't be driving it in Singapore . Probably sent to some other country already . Pls enlighten us bro , how it all went . Thanks !

The biggest surprise that i had was the car was locked, and the key was with me all the while. I cannot imagine someone that can open up a Mercedes door, drive it away and take all the valuables.

Anyway, i believe he is in good hands of the Police now which i am glad..

well, when the police follow up with you, please ask him/ her how did he enter the car? master key transponder which can break the code/ immobliser?

After you got your car back, did you notice anything amiss in the car, like wires being cut, sign of tempering with circuit etc? if not, this means he has your car key coded? Have you visit any workshop lately and left the car/ keys there for a long period of time? Thanks

THESE will greatly assist us into looking out to protect our rides properly.

For the thief to stay around telok kurau, he must be quite well off.
