Hi all, i am new here. I am considering buying an E250 Class coupe however instead of buying from C&C i like to look at other options such as from an paralle importer. Anyone with any experience or recommendation?

Quite a few of us got our rides from different PIs. All have different experiences and pricing base on the packages available. You'll have to walk the ground and do some homework. You can try to PM Bro Tokiu, he got his E250 Coupe from a PI too. Join us at our Monthly GTG, you'll get many of questions answered, and get to see & molest the rides...Happy hunting!!!

My experience was not bad actually. A lot of haggling on price for my trade-in, price for different packages like 1 bid guaranteed or 3 bids not guaranteed COE and stuff like that. Also, because I was too kan-cheong when signing the sales agreement, forgot to insist on the 1 year free road tax as was originally discussed, so when I got my car, it came with only 6 month road tax instead of 12 months! My mistake, so I agree to live with it and not make too much fuss.

Overall, I think the take home message for buyng from PI is 1) Make sure you rely on yourself to remember the deals and 'freebies' they offer when negotiating and make sure everything is listed out clearly in the sales agreement before signing. 2) Its actually quite fun to haggle with them because they are more hungry for your business than CnC:bounce: 3) Don't be scared to shop around. I took 3 days leave just to go to different PI's to shop for the best deal to satisfy myself!

Hope this helps! ;-) Happy shopping!

I actually experienced the exact same thing...like kena possessed, simple nego and put down deposit...then afterwards realised i never nego'ed for many freebies...but later on after a bit of broking skills, managed to score lots of freebies..(really too much until i got scared)....:bounce::bounce:

My initial visit to tat PI was just to have a feel on the physical car in stock, who knows i actually whipped out CC to put down d/payment...
