Help Needed : Comand APS

Alrite, I cant get my hands on a manual. paid for it online and still din get it due to some software glitches... Anyone got a spare copy?

And not knowing the how tos, I cant fully enjoy the benefits of my retrofitted ICE.

Stuff like;

The Navi, different ways done on a same menu activates different results.

eg: in manual "find address" it shows the alphanumeric pad for u to input, while using the voice to "find address" get you the the page where we stored the saved addresses.

and strangely, i cant really use the find postcode function although it has some of the postcodes I input. I mean, the start function is grey out after the input, and voice command do not get me pass too. It worked b4, and i can no longer replicate.

anyone got a cheap and fast way to sync contacts?

If I still get the chinese characters in øˆª©∆√ç for the MP3 files, does it mean i din do something correctly?

Anyone know how to fool the comand to play mkv, avi etc files from the PCMCIA slot?

And many more questions....

Good news, tested a 8GB SD card n it works.

I can lent you my copy of the Command NTG4 manual & also the Linguatronic Voice Control Manual.

Didn't know can search by postal code though!

Take note that even the lastest 2011 SEA Maps do not have all the block numbers in all district. So at time you might need to key in to the nearest block of your destination.

You can search by address or POIs.

U put in 8Gb SD Card arh! - I put in 32Gb CF card and also I got 16Gb SD card.....hahahaha!

To be frank I cannot fully load up the 32Gb - probably around 20Gb only cos I think there's a limit to the number of folders & songs in the folders.

You can also copy all your favorite songs on to your memory card up to 6Gb and copy them to your Music Register.

Might be sometime wrong with your setup on Chinese characters not appearing. IIRC it will recognise songs from the Gracenote Database.

Mine has no problem reading Chinese and even Jepunese - Serious!

Dun think U can play movies file like avi, mov, etc through your SD Card.

What do U mean by "cheap & fast way to syn contacts"?

For me & my wife we syn only our favorite contacts on our iPhone 4 to the Command phone contacts.

I do not have any problem with my Linguatronic Voice Control/Commands!

It may be a good idea for you to go back to your Command Installer for lessons!.....hehehehe!

my gracenote got mood swings leh. some times can see, some times cannot. some can see some cannot.

Cant BT sync my Comand. only can use the Vcard.

hehe, at first i din know that functions can be that challenging. and camber already spend few hours on my ride liao, i had to rush that day. Camber service very good liao.

My copy is for W212 & not for W204 but should be quite similar in instructions.

No problem if U wanna copy mine.

The Linguatronic manual will be the same - that U can copy too.
