How much roughly can we trade our 17 inch W204 avantgarde rims and tyres for?

Assuming brand new = worth how much?

Assuming 5,000 mileage = worth how much?

Assuming 10,000 mileage = worth how much?

Assuming 15,000 mileage = worth how much?

Best you call up the tyre shop n ask no fixed rule as far as I know every tyre shop n person will have a diff opinion on the relative worth of your rims and tyre depending on make and model of tyre and size of rims as well as the cost of the new tyres you gonna buy from them

The tyres shops usually take them in for between $1000 to $1500 for brand new out of the showroom set provided U buy rims or tyres or both from them.

The tyre shops are more interested in their business with U to take in more for your new tyres than the rims other than if they are original amg rims, they might pay a bit more even if there some "mileage" to it - go ask Bro Des!

Old avantgarde or stock rims with used tyres are almost worthless and the tyre shop will likely give a token sum if U buy rims or tyres or both from them.

If U sell them your old rims with tyres and not buying, they will not likely to buy it from U.

Who give a better price for new rims/tyres to trade in for new rims/tyres is all a sum game.

Before I took delivery of my previous Q5, I approached 3 tyre shops LS, SE, HT

I got trade in quotes of $1300, $1200 & $1500 respectively.

Then I got them to quote me similar rims/tyres.

It was a sum game!

SE quoted the least trade in of $1200 actually I paid less in total for my new rims/tyres with them.

Mileage - 6500km. L.S took in my 18" AMG IV(with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT) @ $1500. Traded for 19" AMG V 16-spokes with ContiSportContact 5P @ $6k.

Totally agrees with Unker, its a 'sum game'. But i guess the price can't varies too much.
