After market DRL beware!

My friend was caught by TP on Tuesday for fixing an aftermarket DRL.

The TP informed him that they are on the look out for this modification and they have to issue a summon , no warning!

However, the TP also said that as a first time offender,my friend can write in to appeal.

DRL come standard in some merc models though not all. How can TP determine whether it's factory fitted or aftermarket?

If they stop every Merc on suspect of fixing aftermarket DRL, good luck to them especially when a lot of our MPs are also Merc owners..... lolx

the tell tale sign is the color of the DRL..most original DRL is not pure white, except for those fitted on the AUDI light

I think the crack down is on the ones by Bosch that so many Jap & Korean cars are using. These DRLs are super bright & these idiotic drivers are using them in the night. I have even seen a red Wish cab with 2 pairs of these DRLs used In the night. They deserve to be booked!
