Hi all, just wondering if we can compile a thread to compare omv for our w204s...so we can see the average and new owners can know if they're overpaying for new mercs.

crap... they are reducing OMV to take more profit. My listed price was $160k net, which gave them a gross profit of 50k

what is the YOM for your car? since it is reg 02/2011, this should be an ex-stock car , OMV depends on when they paid the import tax with conversion to Singapore dollars too...If a 36k omv car has the same level of equipment as a 32K car, it could be due to currency differences, COE, or marked up from the agent..

YOM is 2010. COE is 40,123. currency differences cant be 11% diff.

So I guess most likely is a marked up by agent.

Diff in exchange between highest point in past 6 mth and when my car reaches sillypore is only about 5% diff.

It's just a number game after all. Freebies here and there, but cutting here and there too.. :becky:

Just saw on the papers today that they are offering B200 free upgrade to C200.

listed price for B200 in sgcarmart is 167,888...

wonder how much the omv for the C200 gonna be as compared to the rest of the bros.

Mine registered Feb 2010.

I think Euro at that time was about EURO1 = SGD2.

Now is about 1 = 1.75

If you use $37k / 2 = 18.5k Euro

Then 18.5k * 1.75 = its about $32k

So, its purely due to exchange rates ..... Sing $ has appreciated a lot actually.

Makes sense. C&C must have benefitted from the lower omv.
