Speedometer seeing double??

Sent my car down for a nice polish yesterday but ended up seeing double on my speedometer. It is apparent only when the lights are turned on at night. I could see shawdows of my speedometer calibration in mph as we as kph!! Driving me nuts! I ran thru my user manual still cannot figure out what's wrong. Anyone came across this problem before? Pls help!! Thks

Yrs is a PI car? If yes, ask yr dealer to reset it back for u from mph to km/h.

Yr speedometer issue, one of the bru here has this problem too but can't remember the actual cause.

can it be water went into some electronics after your car wash before polish?

Maybe let it dry in the sun and hopefully the problem goes away??:shocked:

Another problem that you might face is, when you 'ON' the lights, 'cos its original mph, the black lightings for the speedometer are aligned to mph readings. When they change the speedometer to kph, the back lightings is not align to the readings, thus you'll get some readings light up, and some reading don't...:frusty:

Ya as I suspect is a PI car. Nothing to do with yr groomer is the whole speedo cluster issue. Hope u can get it resolve.
