If you are not particular about fit and finish and just want something to light up and look good from far, go for Sonic. But if you are like me who is very particular, please go OEM. Cos once u regret u have to spend $$ to revert back to original again...

For those interested, L shaped aka hocky stick orignal part numbers are as follows expect to pay approx $270 PER side not inclusive of the back mouldings.

But its the black moldings which are most challenging to customise to fix cars other than E Class...I wish they have something for SLK..wishing for a long time..

Guess what..I did with them...and after a week I change back to original fog..and spend $$ to purchase the original moldings with the fog cover..as they use my original one, cut out the molding leaving the frame and silicon a aftermarket mesh to it....Fit and finishing definitely was not something I can take..so end up changing back to original fog..That was why I kept emphasizing please stick to OEM..

Bro, I have research every single available option for SLK DRL...I will pass the Piecha design.. I dun really like fog and DRL together...If some one can get something like the hocky stick DRL in E class with a mold that FITS PERFECTLY, I dun mind paying for it...

I also went to install the MB original DRL on my W204. Very pleased with it although it costs much more.

One thing I noted was that the original color temperature of the DRL is not the same as that of my HIDs and LED eyelids. They are very close to the HIDs but the LED eyelids look much more bluish when compared to the DRLs.

Any bros here know what is the color temperature of the DRLs? 5000k?

Is yours the amg or the orignal avanguard bumper ? If orignal bumper look for Sonic Racing, if amg look for benzline

Mine is amg bumper, i went over to auto spritze to check with them. They qouted me $400 and told me it will take an entire day. They told me that will have to cut the bumper as well as the drl casing to install. What do you guys think? Those who have done it before does look weird after installation hows their workmanship? The price they qouted was it reasonable?

Installation is done with autospritz look for ah heng hes da man ! Installation will require cutting into the bumper no going back after that. Installation should cost about $200 from autospritz, what else are you buying from benzline ?
