Driving Benz into JB

any one regular drive your mercedes into JB ?? is it safe ???

depends on where in jb. if you're just driving directly to a hotel and leave your car in the hotel (preferably in the front), then it should be ok. if you go from point to point, like shopping, makan, car wash, and what not, my advice is don't.

if u eating, park it somewhere u can see.

if u go massage, park in front of hotel and pay e security guard some tips.

but then again, see heng sway la.

no issue about your mb in jb... just behave normal, dont wayang when u go to jb and u are fine.. remember.. malaysia is your host when u visit. Give respect to the host country by not showing off, behaving loud or rude.. otherwise.. enjoy.... malaysia has nice and courteous people. Yes common sense should prevail...eg dont leave your ipad lying around the back seat when it should be stowed in the boot.

Just drove my w203 over last week to jb for golf and lunch at taman sentosa.

No issues. Just be aware of surroundings and exercise caution.

but again, dont be yaya papaya there, dont show cash, dont show rolex, dont offend people which many of the locals will do. (hope no offence)

i got no other worries to leave my car with him all the time. FYI, my ride was W209 CLK240. and Sifu Gan helped me a lot on this ride.

his shop located near Jusco Permas Jaya. so u can leave the car there and then enjoy your shopping in Jusco

I've been going in and out of JB for the past 20 years, so far didn't get into any trouble (touch wood!). Like what all the guys have said, just be more careful, don't be flashy, and don't yaya papaya lor. BTW, just went JB for shopping couple of times in the last 2 months in my W204. Thank God all went well!
