Not possible to do that, there are about three choices. One, spend ard $13k to upgrade to MB Command Nav system. Second, spend around $2k+ change to aftermarket HU like Pioneer. Lastly, spend ard $200 get a Holux or Garmin.

u guys are lucky, there are nos. $ choices, look for our bro camber53, he can meets yr requirement, just do a search. This topic is still hot!!! Btw no need $13K to get it done!!! Surprise??

IMHO,

There are more than 3 choices to "upgrade" for GPS Navigation at least to the following car models i.e W212, A207, C207 & W204.

1. Spend $14k to upgrade to MB Command Nav System - Not possible even

if U want to come out the money after ordering your car.

C & C do not do retrofit. :whistle:

2. Spend $2k+ to change to aft mkt HU like Pioneer, Kenwood, etc -

For newer MB rides - may lose some functions eg. goin into the hidden menu to do settings or seek information.

Good is that U get touch screen Garmin GPS navigation esp with Kenwood set - free maps from MalSingMap/MalFreeMaps/Jerome Wee SG/JHR Maps (1 time paid donation), BT, iPod/iPhone, USB, DVD + options for Digital TV & Reverse Camera

3. Portable GPSr - Lots out there Garmin, Honulux, Tibo, Marbella, Tom Tom, etc.

4. After mkt Multi Media Interface - With $1k + you can have after mkt media interface for IIRC W212, C207, A207, W220, W221, W204 with Garmin GVN53 Blackbox - Navigation playing through your stock LCD screen.

Use agrmin based maps!

More functions can be added to the after mkt MMI eg. DVD, Digital TV, Reverse Camera.

4a. As with above 4 but different aft mkt multi media interface with possible touchscreen navigation but with AIGIS Maps. Map updates - not too frequent.

More functions can be added as in 4.

Choice 4 or 4a sometimes are touted as "original MB" by some PIs to unsuspecting potential car buyers!

5. Retrofit Command from outside source - see BroCamber53 for your W212,

A207, C207 & W204 Navigations, Bigger 7" "Higher Resolution" LCD screen with latest original MB 2010 South East Asia Maps c/w Linguatronic Voice Controls for BT, Navigation & Audio.

Option for single DVD or DVD Changer.

For my W212, I have took out the stk oem Audio 20 & retrofitted with above choices 4 & 5 i.e Command NTG4 Navigation with 6 DVD Changer + After Mkt MMI with RC, Digital TV & Garmin GVN53 Navigations.

Command Navigations work in tunnels even when satellite signals are lost by the ECU calculating the speed of the wheels with the map.

Navigation informations & directions on also shown on your dash meter - DIS (Driver Information System)

As with all GPS - " Your GPS is only as good as your Maps" :hand:

there is a P&P player selling in MY, cost ard rm4k to get dvd, gps or so. i believe its made in taiwan or so but look alike to original comand system
