RE:W204 C180 Noisy when braking!

Hi ,

I driving a C180 '08 model which i just bought ,:Cry:everytime when i step on the brake the is a noise coming from the back, and when i turning on the right there is a 'Tuck Sound' my milleage is only 44K .Anyone have the problem need help Thanks.

Hi 8899,

could it be your brake pad or rotol ending their life span?

turning right tuck sound coming from where?

Noises like those of a "ommph ommph" are pretty normal I guess, even in a new car. It happens in Jap or Conti cars. Of course, these are of reasonable decibels. If the sounds are unbearable, then it's a sign of an issue. Sometimes, I do get these "ommph ommph" sound too when the foot brakes are applied, though bear-able.

Foot brakes are, as I understood, correct me if I'm wrong, are applied to the front brakes, so technically, there shoudln't be any sound from the back. Yes, do check for other causes coming from the back of the car.

I have the similar problem and the cause is worn lower arms, bush, etc...got it changed at MBM for abt $1.4K. But since your mileage is only 44K, unlikely is caused by this. Go for a check-up ya.
