iPhone 4 problem with C180 (w204)

Does anyone has this problem when making calls( Bluetooth linking) with iPhone 4, the other party can't hear u?

Have no such problem. Mine can link n chat quite clearly.

It's not a common prob just can't directly sync contacts for me.

I have problem with iPhone 4 on Audio 20 in W211 too. Sometimes BT don't connect unless off/on phone's BT again. Sometimes connect but sound breaking... other time perfect sound. :Cry:

Sync contact problem - Audio 20 is an old tech hi fi system that lets you sync only contact from your SIM card. iOS devices are tightly secure and stores contact in phones memory, not SIM card. So syncing is not possible. If you have contacts in your SIM card, put it in an old phone and connect using bluetooth and sync it.... one by one. I did that and i managed to sync most of my contacts. Get a microsim adapter to fit it in non smart phones for syncing.

By the way, iOS 4.2 is around the corner, reportedly releasing 24th nov... update the software and hopefully it will solve the bluetooth problem some of you may encounter.

Car manufactures like that one. They take at least 3 yrs to develop some electronic product. By the time they launch usually too late as the product life cycle of other electronic stuff is 6 - 12 months. This unless they change their mentality

Dunno about iPhone 4 - but my iPhone 3GS Firmware 4.1 has no problem to sync with my W212 Audio 20 and import contacts chosing from Favorites to named contact folders.

Just recently retrofitted COMMAND NTG4 to my W212 replacing the Audio 20and also no problems to sync or import contacts with the iPhone or my wife iPhone.

Think U guys who got problems go back C&C & seek assistance.

hehe, thks for your offer ^^. very gian the Comand Aps leh. Looking at 3k-ish kindda price la, to be honest with you. wife now controls my wallet and owns my a$$... too huge a outbound cash is too conspicuous and she'll shaft whatever I bought the money with into the hole where the sun doesn't shine...

Once I get hold of the Comand APS, i will sell u my Audio 20, ok? keke.

How to get Command for $3+k with installation when it's $10+k option.

I've already 2 sets of Audio 20. WTF I m gonna do with yr 3rd set.....siao boh?....hahaha!

Whoa! Really... you managed to sync all contacts from 3GS to Audio 20!?

I must check it again myself. Because the last time i tried, it was not possible... and that was a few days after collecting the car.

But i wonder if W212 Audio20 is the same as W204 Audio20. ... or there is a firmware upgrade on Audio20....

I think a bit diff lah! At least the w212 has a bigger LCD screen.

To instal command ntg4 to W204 need more parts than W212.

For contact imports, I only load my Fav folder from the 3GS.

With Command, I may wanna load all contacts cos the voice control dialing by names, numbers or addresses is excellent.
