E250 CGi or CLS350

Actually, i love the shape of the new CLS ... simply love it. Both front and rear. Side profile could look a bit like the S class... but its ok. Heard that it's now using dual clutch transmission instead of AMT. Wonder if its true.

I think I will be keeping this C180 till the next new look for E class. it could be a hybrid by then.

How about VW: People's car.........

VW not bad but a tad way overpriced for what it is. In fact, wanted to get the sexy Passat CC before i booked the C180 CGI but the reported problems wif the 7-spd DSG box was a real put off.

$171k after 10k discount but b4 2k accessories + 4k service credits + cash rebates (but dun waste time on this). But new C200 is CGI and more oomph. Overall, diff is onli abt $1k/yr for new vs used.

Hi Cklasse

Saw the car as BW is near my place. It's a PI car with no memory seats if I don't recall wrongly what the SE said. Looks nice in the AMG kit yes..

owned a Vw before ... a mk IV Bora ... lots of issues. Servicing and maintenance almost as expensive if not more expensive than a Merc.... No more VW or Audi for me anymore.,,, at least for the next 5-10 years.

Care to explain what this $2k accessories is abt ? My SE did not explain any of these to me when I checked on the C180K :( All she say is $8k overtrade + $1k servicing credit and she throw in either rev cam or solar film

It's part of the Remarkable Drive promo. Used to be $10k overtrade discount + $3k accessories + another $4k service credit tho. Anyway, can use the $2k for accessories or convert part to additional overtrade discount. That's for the C200 & C180 CGI but not sure what's the deal wif the C180K. What sort of reverse cam did she offer? The integrated one using the centre screen or the one that has a little box stuck next to the rear view mirror on the windscreen?

Thanks for the info. No such offer for me  Was only quoted $3k of dunno-wat discount, $3k overtrade, $3k servicing credit (of which $2k can be encashed to offset car price). Total $8k off the RRP $149,988 + $1k servicing credit. And OMV is only a tad below $32k ... sigh ... Anyone got better deals ?

The rev cam she mentioned is integrated, ie view from the centre screen.

Saw this weeks ago selling for $132k and now raised to $137k. Wonder how long are they going to keep the car before lowering the price?
