Mine affected. I called my SE to help me check. They have to check with their customer service dept on individual cars. Not their fault as they are not given a list of affected cars so how to know which customers to contact?

You honestly think Daimler Benz or C&C will release a list of affected cars for the world to see? Then actual number of cars affected here will be public knowledge.

Don't everything blame SE...

Note from my SE

C & C will be sending out registered mails to our customers.

The 1st round of check is a physical one where the mechanic will identify the ring sealant serial batch number.

If it's not within the affected batch, we will realease the car.

However if it falls under the affected batch, the sealant will be replaced.

That procedure should not take more than 2 hours.

So don't worry if your car comes in and leave within 15 mins after check without any change.

Just a safeguard physical examination to determine the fault first.
