Tyres

Hi guys,

I need some advice here and pardon me for asking such a basic question, I am pretty much clueless about the tech side of cars. Yesterday night I was driving my C180 CGI when suddenly the message in red "Check Tyre Pressure" appeared. I went to petrol kiosk and found out the pressure for one tyre is 130, so I pumped till 220.

Then this evening the same message appeared again and I found out the pressure of that same tyre dropped to 120, I repumped. Is it ok for me to wait till

Monday to bring to the service center or should I immediately go to a tyre shop for check? The thing is that I do not know any reliable personnel from tyre shop to do the check. And how do I know if he really tells me the tyre cannot be mend? What's the normal price for mending one tyre?

My car's only 5 months old. Please advise and do inform me if you know of any reliable tyre shop/personnel. Thanks a lot!!

Okies how much would it cost? Thanks.

Instant patch charges should range anywhere from $6-10. If you do it at your regular tyre shop it's FOC. You can always visit our site sponsor Arrow Tyres for an honest diagnosis / quick inspection/mend.

You can visually inspect the cause of pressure loss and determine if it's beyond repair (ie, more than 2 puncture holes / sidewall damage). Common items that will cause punctures include screws, nails and other sharp metal objects. Sounds like the pressure loss is quite severe! Better have it checked ASAP
