C180 Engine ECU remap?

Hi,

Is there anywhere I can do ECU remap for C180 ? I heard it can increase power because the engine is suppose to be the same as C200?

AFAIK, the c200 shares the same engine as the c180, but in this case, the c180 engine isn't detuned, it has been the c200's engine thats been tuned for increased power.. i believe ya can change the ECU instead (you're saying that remap means change? pai seh i noob with chim english..)?

why not install the C230 SC?? Flash the ECU to C230!!

we park apart from bmw, they park nearer to Mac, we park nearer to KFC,

seems very wu hua ley. but after all this power, need to add the C32AMG brakes at least(as what kepiting1sg suggested)... if not later go faster than mata chia but cannot stop in time for speeding camera. lol!

How much are the C32AMG brakes? Change brakes have to change to larger rims? Yeah maybe can get group discount for upgrade?

But with upgrade won't there be more stress on the engine and components?

The C32 AMG front brakes should be around +/- $2K and they are 14" rotors, so the std 15" rims have to be changed.

Furthermore there must be enough clearance for the calipers too. My 17" Brabus has less than 0.25" clearance.

Mod or no mod depends on what U are looking for.

U "slammed" the accelerator with mod or no mod, off course U made the engine work harder.

There will be more wear & tear. No free lunch! ;D ;D ;D

If U drive very slowly like me, then U have more carbon built up. ;D ;D ;D

Got some questions though, does it help in stopping, are they lighter, would fit stock 17" rims, how many pots?
