Accuracy of Command APS GPS

Hi all. Just wanna find out if others have encountered similar issues with their Command APS GPS. Mine will from time to time display incorrect position on the map, especially on cloudy days or when I'm surrounded by tall buildings. I'm just wondering if it's a faulty GPS receiver or if it's normal for the Merc system. The GPS in my BMW Z4 works beautifully under all conditions.

Hope to hear the experience of others. Thanks!

i think yours off leh... mine is okay all the time when moving except when initial startup before moving, it'll be off.

ive driven in rainy weather heavy rain no problem

have you tried resetting your system?

what map version are you running on?

In fact, its more accurate than my Holux 6210+ or my Iphone or HTC Touch HD2.

Especially like when you're going via voice instructions only the voice is super accurate.

thanks for the reply. sounds like mine needs fixing. trouble is that it's a PI car so I don't know where to bring the car to to have this look at.

use the engineering menu to run a circuit check first

hmm mbm is a good place to start.
