no idea wat is that all about. Go down and post yr finding here before anyone can advise. Such as post the new car model, pricing and the name of the SE.

The discount looks good but they didnt mentioned about the car pricing. All the freedies probably comes from you after they adjusted the new pricing (if any). I find out this when i recently brought a new car from them. I got a high trade-in but ZERO freedies from them for the new car not even a car mat.........so sad. That's life..............

Orh my service credits also ZERO. Also, i prefer yr SE, she use her heart & soul to deal with e customer, instead of using mind game & magics lolz.

Tks. Guess the sgcarmart price is the RRP price. Wonder what would be a realistic transacted price? Btw, read that the GGI models hv the stop-start feature. Is that correct?

They had this remarkable drive thing earlier this year too.

Just before CNY when I booked my C180K. That's when they fitted the C180 and C200 with the 17" multi-spokes and the boot lip spoiler.

other freebies include extra service credits or garmin GPS.

I was just in time for the 8% overtrade too. So I apart from the normal remarkable drive feebies, I squeezed for a bit more freebies and more overtrade. Hence effectively turning it into cash discount. Sacrificed service credits, but enough to last me till 60k?

don't wana be bogged down by their credits too after hearing some horror servicing stories.

actually almost every brand's AD service centre sure got some 'pattern' more or less. Just depends on heng suay only.

what you said is very true...use to own a Saab95...complained about steering problem numerous times during warranty period...can never rectified...but once warranty over...problem resolved! .... not after paying close to $1K to replace parts :tsk:...thanks Trans Eurokars

well this was wat i got frm my SE. help me see gd deal anot.

C180 - $163,888

inclusive of huper optik solar film, $600 MB Boutique voucher, floormats, reverse sensors + cameras, $2000 svc credits.

i also had a $9k discount frm the C180, and $6k overtrade frm my old car and converted $2000 svc credit into overtrade credits, i also received the 8% cash rebate..

so overtrade value = 9+6+2 = $17k overtrade value.

gd deal?

I was quoted something similar except the 8% rebate thingy. Rebate is on loan amount or purchase price? I was told 12% rebate but interest 3.3%, if no rebate int 2.2%.

I think end of the day the selling price of C180 CGI is still fixed at $163,888 + all the included "so called" freebies mentioned earlier. Except different SE playing around with financial rebate figures buyer opt for in obtaining their loan tenure or each financial company. The interest rate is the one that make a vast different in the long term...

my interest rate was 2.88%, giving me 8% rebate on $163,888..

so infact my total rebates were 17k+13k = $30k..

duno if its a gd deal haha.

so nett price u paid is $133,888k for the C180? if so, i reckon it's a cracking deal!

This is not how it works...%rebate is based on the loan amount ie: $166,888K.

Well, technically ya, but thing is i got car to overtrade, tt's why i chose this option. I believe she could have given me a pretty gd deal if i didnt need the 30k overtrade.

so if u jus wana buy offhand without the overtrade thingy, probably its 9k(promo)+6k(disc)+2k(svc credits)

which is abt 17k off.

So $163,888 - 17k = $146,888

i think la.

sad case dude.

for instance i was a peugeot owner before. a brand that most anoraks will avoid. my car did ran into some small niggles but all were replaced and rectified without a hassle.

all comes down to luck right at the end.

I was told if u got no car to trade in, u can't qualify for the rebate. maybe just cash discount, freebie or credits.
