Engine oil recommendation

Hi all,

care to share what brand of engine oil you are using and is it better than the standard ones that C&C uses? I believe it is SHELL ultra Helix.....:becky:

shell ultra helix is one of the WORST oils around bro...

i strongly recommend Redline 10W40 or Mobil1 Gold.

I just recently changed over from Mobil1 gold to redline and i feel its slightly quieter.

Definitely good stuff.

can try Liqui Moli (5 to 40)

Agree that Shell ultra helix pales in comparison....Monil 1 GOLD sounds good..anyone can confirm whether C&C allows you to BYO?

i dont see any reason why.

SHU doesnt pale in comparison... you can go to mycarforum to see that it seriously seriously sucks.

Mobil1 gold is good but Redline is just as good/better 3 bucks cheaper per quart somemore

Unker ... cannot BYO but can ask for Mobil-1 else they will use Shell ... only found out AFTER my servicing ... sigh ...

Didn't know can tell them to use Mobil 1.

Have been using Mobil 1 for my Pleasure Island 3.0 TDI Prado.

After > 7 years, the Turbo Diesel engine still "swee swee"

& dun bleach smoke.

yeah din know that too ... thought most w/s will carry one oil type ... but now we know...

lady at desk was not too friendly though .. maybe caught her off day ... but new assistant kinda cute ... wahahahaha
