Do you use the 3.5mm AUX input?

Do you guys use the 3.5mm AV Jack for AUX input for the W204? Example for iPod or MP3 player.

I tried it with different mobile phones and tried to play music. I put the phone vol to max but still it plays very very soft. I need to turn up the volume up by few clicks before vol becomes decent. Problem with doing that, is that then when you switch back to Radio or normal CD, it then becomes very loud.

Do you guys get that problem?

Go buy a FiiO earphone volume booster amp for yr iPod/iPhone/mp3 player.

This small gadget will boost yr signal out to the aux input.

IIRC, I bought mine from eBay for $30

Here's one on eBay Singapore

OK thanks for all the replies.

Sad & happy at same time. Sad cause I was thinking new cars nowadays should have taken care of iPod etc already. Still must but a volume booster. :(. Cheehhhh...

Happy cause then I know there is nothing wrong my AUX input.

To make matters worse, the AUX input is in the dashboard. Wah now must run cable out of glove box.

Initially had thought the Bluetooth could work for music, but it works only for voice calls.

Otherwise.... I am happy with the car.

Nothing offending lah!

Driving it for nearly 7 years without problem for a Turbo Diesel car

with almost non-existent expertise from local mechanics is a wonder.

Maybe regular servicing with Mobil I helps...hehehe!

Grandfather aka company paid for it lah!

Next year if got replacement Unker hoping also for a new Prado too.

Here sometimes the pot holes can swallow up a small K-Car and not mentioning about the floods....heheheh!

The 1st gen CRV lasted less than 4 years before it went into pieces.

How's the diesel tax there?

What diesel tax????......muhahahahaha!

Annual road tax just paid 2 weeks ago cums to abt $800 including admin charges without receipts......hahhaha!!!:becky:

Here like MY, Garment over the years has reduced the subsidy for fuel.

Long time ago when I 1st cum here, 1 ltr of premium cost $0.25

Now no diff between diesel & petrol price @ Rp4,500 or $0.69/ltr.

So tak yew & loot - still cheap lah!

No place to loot???

Batam is now connected to 6 more islands and they are now call Barelang Islands.

Why call Barelang Islands cos it's named after the 3 biggest islands in the chain of 7 islands i.e Pulau Batam, Pulau Rempang & Pulau Galang

End of geography lessons for today....hehehehe!

One end of Batam to the last Island will take U about 2 hours plus to loot.

Maybe ship your C63 wannabe here and loot until U song song go julong:becky:

They do hold races here on this route!
