Many such cases in the market.

Seeing the name remind me of someone with the surname 'Lee', wonder is it the same fellow.

Be street smart be it first time selling and buying of car.

Another thing to note is...no cash transaction, either issue them a cheque or cashier order to the company name unless this dealer you are very very comfortable with.

If you need to top up from your full settlement amount, you can alway buy a cashier order payee to your finance's banker instead to the car dealer.

Do take note that most dealer will settle your outstanding with your bank within a week after letting you sign the 'Aurthorise Letter to Settle' .

Bank will than reply with the settlement amount 1 or 2 day later and transfer can only be done next working day after the settlement as bank need to release 'Form B' than transfer can be done.

Such process will take at least 3 day so dont be a ass hole to request the dealer to settle and do the transfer at the same day.
