any idea to buy some w204 like all silver emblem?

The blue paint on my hood emblem has already started to peel off and the car is less than 8 months old...grrrr

Maybe better to change to an all-silver one...hahah

Hmmm...that's true also but hard to peel off all the blue paint - there will be some left

Did you complain or they automatically did it for you?

I sent my car in for servicing last week and they left it at that...zzzzzzzzzz

nice meh ??...i got it by default...when i collected my c200 in Nov 09, thot that was the "new" emblem design so did not ask the SE...after driving around and saw all other cars in the showroom & on the road also have the blue ring around it...knew something is amiss...call up the stupid SE and he insisted that "cannot be one"...so my fault lah @#$%^&...to shut his f:censored:king mouth, i told him i will pay for a new one...he still got the cheek to collect $$ from me some more...stupid cheapskate SE...want to know his name...PM me :tsk:

If your car is still warranty, C&C will change them for free. Had mine changed a few days ago...no question asked. It's like they do this all the time & have ready stock as there's no waiting.

Wah...that's damn farked up...sigh

Anyway, I got mine changed last week when I went in to collect my replacement key...

2-minute job - my SA flipped over the bonnet, pop out the old emblem and put in the new one...

Anyway, the emblem is made of plastic - really low quality plastic

Just checking if anyone's W204 emblem at the bonnet has it's blue paint peeled off ? I changed two already and is really frustrated with the quality!!!!!!!

But as I noticed, it's made from really low quality plastic - doubt the paint is also of a good quality

Just couldn't understand how this joker handle abt complains & quality issue. Since this is a known problem and they don't bother to call & inform the owners for FOC replacement? I guess they only how to sell?? I suggest u guys take a picture and send to Daimler sg.

Understand your frustration. I got mine replaced by C&C when the car is less than one month old. Now the blue paint starts to peel off again.
