D90 with kit lens 18-135mm brand new should be able to get it $16xx.

D90 used , Body -$1000.

Actually had plan to get 1 sometime back so did a little homework on this.

Were abit sian with my LX3 mah...so going the dslr ways....

That's the one full format that I am eyeing but has been procrastinating for the last 2 years.

Once you hold the camera in your hands, you won't want to let go. I guarantee you that. D3 sensor in a D300 body. Autofocus tracking is very very fast. Usable high ISO even at 6200.

Other than a few "issues" like the flimsy door that hides the CF slot, rubber cover for the usb port.. MAI TU LIAO. :bounce:

The D700 I was told can get around $3.5k cash for body.

Or the price went down further?

Hahaha ok in all honesty I'm looking out for one for myself. Bitten by the bug again. Problem is - 5DM2 or D700.... hehehe I'm still a Canon boy at heart.

It's alot like the Mercedes-Benz or other marques dilemma... then suddenly you find yourself going back to a Benz again.

I am very happy with my D80 till today(No $$$ for D700)

isskkkk... D300 will cost around 1500euro loorr.... very the expensive the crazy one... lol..

D90 is enough for me... :becky: But D700 is cheaper in Spore.. here it's like 2500euro with 24-120mm lens..
