humm most factory fills for Germans are 10W30 which is supposed to be called 'long life' oil, however when we're facing humid & hot with stop start traffic, better to use 10W50 as it'll give better protection when engine is hot or if you drive hard & fast then 10W60 (Agip Racing) is the best for it's vicosity is very stable at very high temp. Only downside, you need to warn up longer in the mornings for it's thicker hence needs longer to warm it up to operating optimium temp.

You can do case study, change to Agip Racing 10W60 before going up North, rev like crazy & see how SMOOTH your engine keeps purring then you'll understand what i mean. Any lesser oils, your engine will fell like clog or very unwilling/hesitant to rev. However if you use 10W30 & travel up North & keeps overtaking plus if it's a hot day, assure you that you'll certainly feel something wrong with your engine

So for normal city driving in SGP (ie. 20-30 mins journey), should I stick to 10W30? or try 10W50 at next oil change? I guess 10W50 needs more frequent changes also?
