U can use the K-box alone however the gains will be a lot less than with the pulley. It acts as a pigggy back. U can also buy a pulley and still use the K-box with a fuel Regulator to add extra fuel.

For W203 C180 Kleemann doesn't recommend the K-Box with the pulley kit.

IIRC the earlier W203 - C180, C200 & C230 including the SLK 200, CLK 200

share the same M271 engines but with different engine compression ratios and with different stages of tune by MB.

The possibilty of different compression ratios from the same engine I m told is the different piston heads MB used for the diff. models and variants using the same M271 engine.

I m told too that the W203 C230 (184bhp) C200 (163bhp) C180 (143bhp)

share the same SC with the exception that the C230 has a smaller SC pulley for faster spooling.

For the W204, I believe MB also uses diff piston heads and ecu mappings for it variants to achieve diff. engine power outputs.

I provided the kleeman code above so you guys can check with ur workshop if my kbox is applicable to your car.

Btw the Kbox is brand new so i assume pix are not needed. Not a single scratch.

Bro YZYgold,

There's no suitable Kleemann boost kit for my ride!

Only explaining to Bro rssid why the k-box can be installed without the pulley kit for the C180.

Just out of curiosity,

Is this K Box the same as the one used in W211 (M271) ?

I know W211's kit has the additional pulley set .

I am referring to the K box only, are they the same ?

Thanks. :-)
