Olden days' Merc Service Shop at Dunearn Road

Anyone here old enough to remember a Merc specialist workshop behind the petrol station (Caltex?) along Dunearn Road near to Newton Circus?

Just curious what happened to it, it was quite popular way back then.

Ya, is that the original workshop? There are a few old Mercs in there but if it is the original shop, then it is way past its prime? No succession planning ah?

Haha you're right it used to be super popular with old school benz owners. A fair number of W126 owners I knew back then patronized them.

The workshop is called "Dunearn Auto".

The business was wraped up and sold off to current operator occupying the same site.

I used to visit the workshop with my dad's W124 ages ago.
