ESP problem

Hi guys,

Please let me know if you have faced the following problem and know a solution to it:

I have recently changed my tyres on my W204. After some weeks, travelling seems a bit bumpy even when travelling on a flat surface. Then I got this sign appearing on the instrument cluster:

"ESP currently unavailable See Owner's Manual"

I referred to the manual and tried to do the troubleshooting but the sign still appears.

Went to the tyre workshop to check if there is anything wrong with the tyre alignment/balancing but the boss claimed that it is the ESP button fault and he (coincidentially) also owns a C200K and got the problem fixed at C&C. Going to C&C will be the last resort since mine is a PI car.

If you have faced similar problem, please share with me how you have solved it. Many thanks!

Common fault on W204.

Is just a sensor fault.

How old is your car ?

PI's car Within 2 year can still get your w/s to send in to c&c to get it change foc..

Also not to worry , the ESP are still working fine.

Hi

I had the same problem few weeks ago and the waring indicator appeared on & off ..No choice have to send in my ride to C&C for repair. According to their CS, it was the steering sensor causing the warning light to appear and they have since replaced the faulty sensor for me foc ( still within warranty period).

Hope the info helps.. Cheers!
