Just got mine change FOC at C&C. Car only 3 months old and the emblem is dis-coloured.

what do you mean by discolored?...the blue MB clover faded?

when i collected my W204 in Nov last year...i noticed that the emblem was completely chrome, including the MB clover...thot that was the "new" emblem and didn't ask...later when counter-checked with SE...he blamed it on the PPS detailers might have "polished" the color off (wtf...)...no choice so went to order from the stupid SE a new emblem to replace the "chrome" one...damn pissed off :tsk:

Yes, is the 'Blue' colour portion. Did you pay for the new emblem?

yes...i paid around $30 to get a new one from the damn SE, he said "impossible" to be w/o the blue clover (saying that is MB corporate image...blah blah) and blame it on my PPS when I am very sure on day 1 that the emblem was completely "chrome"...i.e. no blue clover at all...:tsk::tsk:

i have a brand new set - 3 pointed star standing emblem for W204 which i bought together with the new hood emblem...if you are interested i can sell it to you...PM me if you or anyone who is keen :whistle:

Happened to mine too when car is only 2 months old. Half the blue paint gone. Got C&C to replace for me FOC. But sadly I realise it starts to drop off slightly again after only a month. Start to doubt Merc quality.

No sure if it is due to car wash with water gun that causes it. Can those bros who experience this share if you are washing your car using water gun?

Bro, if car wash with water gun can peal off the colour, how about the heavy storm just now??? How about snowing??? In conclusion, the quality of the emblem sucks!!!
